Neeta M. Vatti, civil trial attorney, joins Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, P.C.

Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, P.C. is pleased to announce that Neeta M. Vatti has become Counsel to the firm, joining Jeffrey Cooper in our Personal Injury Practice. Neeta brings to the firm over 14 years of civil litigation experience and currently focuses her practice in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, medical malpractice, and worker’s compensation. On November 5, 2007, in her last case as a sole practitioner, Neeta, with her co-counsel, obtained a verdict of $2.25 million on behalf of a plaintiff in a medical malpractice wrongful death action against a Waterbury area cardiologist. The suit claimed that the cardiologist’s failure to properly monitor a 67 year-old patient with an existing mechanical prosthetic heart valve and failure to transfer the patient in a timely manner to a facility where necessary heart surgery could be performed caused the patient’s death.
