Attorney Robert M. Frost, Jr. to speak at Fairfield County Bar Association Seminar on November 17, 2009 regarding state erasure laws and disclosure of criminal history information

On November 17, 2009, Attorney Robert M. Frost, Jr. will be presenting at a seminar sponsored by the Fairfield County Bar Association. The seminar is part of a continuing program entitled “Practicing Defensively: Ethics for the Criminal Defense Practitioner.” The seminar scheduled for November 17, 2009 will discuss state erasure laws, background checks, rap sheets, and how to advise clients when they are asked to answer questions about their criminal history, including questions about charges that have been erased by operation of state law.

Also participating on the seminar panel will be Attorney Stephen Conover, former counsel to the Judicial District Grievance Committee for the Stamford-Norwalk Judicial District (1996-2007), and private investigator Daniel Markle of Markle Investigations, Inc.
