Alison J. Toumekian is an associate within the Trust & Estates and Litigation practice groups at the firm’s Bridgeport and Stamford offices.
She currently oversees and assists in a variety of matters in all aspects of estate planning and estate administration and is a member of WealthCounsel, a nationwide alliance of estate planning attorneys, who collectively combine their expertise, designing and administering asset protection and wealth preservation plans. Ali also has a thriving Family Law practice, handling divorce and custody matters, as well as preparing and negotiating prenuptial agreements.
Ali earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2016, where she graduated with concentrations in civil advocacy & dispute resolution and family law, with honors. She is active in both the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Ali currently serves as the ABA Young Lawyers Division Affiliates Director, as well as the ABA Connecticut Membership co-chair and a state co-captain for ABA Day, the ABA’s lobbying day at our nation’s capital.
Ali was the 2025 recipient of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Vanguard Award, an award that is presented to a current or recent alum on the CBA-YLS executive committee who has made outstanding and significant contributions to the YLS and the Bar Association in general over a prolonged time period. She has also been included in the 2025 and 2026 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Family Law. Ali is a native of Queens, NY, but currently calls South Norwalk home with her boyfriend and their cat, Monte.
