Mr. Scofield joined the firm in 1986 and has established a successful practice concentrating primarily in commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation. Representative cases include an antitrust claim stemming from a hostile corporate takeover, a dispute involving television syndication contracts, obtaining injunctions against trademark infringement, false advertising, and the violation of restrictive covenants, and a number of complex patent cases.
Mr. Scofield has also litigated a wide range of other civil matters, including multi-million dollar foreclosure and bankruptcy cases, disputes between commercial landlords and tenants, fraud claims, business torts, sophisticated probate disputes, and the defense of product liability claims.
